Hands on Maths Learning

Room 7 have been using real life contexts to get to grips with mathematical ideas ranging from volume and capacity to statistical investigations. It was also great learning and good fun to get the opportunity to go to Hastings Girls' High School to experience the World of Maths roadshow which involved everything from graphing the descent of marbles down gradients to escaping from interlocked chains. Check out some of what we have been up to below.
