Optimist Yachting at Ahuriri

Room 7 got to spend last Wednesday at Pandora Pond learning to sail thanks to the Hawke's Bay Optimist Yachting Trust.

We had perfect conditions in terms of wind, current and temperature. It was a great day out going through the basics.

A big thanks to Mr Parker, Mr Hocking, Mrs Hunter, Helen, Corrina, Lynne, Lisa, Mandy, Greg, and Lawrence for helping with supervision.

Year 8 Mystery Trip

The Year 8 students had their annual Mystery Trip on Friday. We went to work in the Candle Making Workshop at Hohepa, slid down the hill at Dolbel Reserve, ate kebabs and hit the Onekawa Pools.
